Position: Desktop Engineer
Compensation: $50 – $60 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Desktop Engineer to join their team!

With the previous expert moving to the security team, there's a chance to step in and make a significant impact. You'll be working on building out advanced computing environments, deploying software, and supporting enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide high-level technical support for EUC-related issues
- Manage desktop/laptop environments across Windows, Linux, and mobile platforms
- Administer endpoint management tools like Microsoft Endpoint Manager
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and manage endpoint security solutions
- Lead EUC-related projects and technology rollouts
- Document technical solutions and processes for knowledge sharing
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years in EUC, IT Support, or Desktop Engineering roles
- Deep knowledge of Windows 10/11 and MDM solutions
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and ITSM tools
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator
- Experience with security frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST
- Knowledge of Next Think AI tool for proactive issue identification
