Position: Staff Accountant – Manufacturing
Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Staff Accountant – Manufacturing to join their team!

As a Staff Accountant, you’ll support accounting operations, maintain financial records, and ensure compliance with standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and contribute to the company’s success. This role offers growth opportunities in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Prepare and post journal entries and monthly closing activities
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and support financial statement preparation
- Reconcile bank accounts, fixed assets, and accruals
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Support annual audits and provide documentation
- Collaborate with operations to improve financial processes
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Participate in ERP system maintenance and reporting improvements
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting
- Experience with inventory and cost accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- CPA designation or CPA candidate
- Experience with manufacturing ERP systems
- Experience in multi-site manufacturing operations
