Position: Electrical Substation Designer
Compensation: $30 – $38 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Electrical Substation Designer to join their team!
As an Electrical Substation Designer, you will work on a variety of exciting projects, creating electrical schematics and designs for diverse clients. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design electrical projects including schematics and grid plan layouts
- Develop drawings for production work and perform problem analysis
- Execute changes to designs and incorporate design codes
- Review design drawings for quality assurance
- Organize and maintain project-related information logically
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve design issues
- Communicate effectively with project clients and team members
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and standards
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's in drafting technology or related field with 7+ years experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Excel
- Advanced ability in 2D and 3D design applications
- Strong knowledge of design systems and calculations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Authorization to work permanently in the country
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with multidisciplinary project teams
- Familiarity with additional design software
