Position: CMMC Compliance Consultant
Compensation: $60 – $80/hour, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, OK – Fully Remote
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled CMMC Compliance Consultant to join their team!
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading organization that supports national security missions and government transformation. The role involves preparing for C3PAO-led assessments and ensuring alignment to CMMC Level 2 expectations. This is an excellent chance to contribute to important cybersecurity compliance projects with potential for contract extension.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Support C3PAO assessments within a C3PAO organization
- Guide internal teams through Level 2 assessment readiness
- Ensure documentation and evidence alignment to CMMC L2 expectations
- Interpret and apply NIST SP 800-171 and related security requirements
- Identify and address gaps in cybersecurity compliance
- Collaborate with teams for remediation checkpoints and documentation validation
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Hands-on experience with C3PAO assessments
- Strong familiarity with CMMC 2.0 and audit preparation
- Experience in federal government environments
- Knowledge of cybersecurity compliance and DFARS 7012
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA) or Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) credential
- Background in government contracting environments
- Experience with SSP and inventory compliance
