Position: Business Intelligence Developer
Compensation: $35 – $48/hour, depending on experience
Location: Lenexa, Kansas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join their team!
Join a dynamic team where you’ll leverage cutting-edge BI tools to support large-scale IT and network solutions. This role offers the chance to work closely with internal stakeholders, primarily in operations and accounting, to develop impactful BI solutions. With a focus on building and maintaining permanent solutions, you’ll play a crucial role in driving business intelligence initiatives forward.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Translate business needs into technical specifications
- Design, build, and deploy BI solutions
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms
- Create tools to store data efficiently
- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
- Collaborate with team to integrate systems
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
- Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
- 2+ years of experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist
- Strong understanding of database management systems and ETL frameworks
- Experience with SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI
- Knowledge of SQL queries and SQL Server Management Studio
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Background in accounting or understanding of accounting principles
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- T-SQL or relational database experience
- Proficiency in Visual Studio
