Position: Plant Accountant
Compensation: $160,000 – $190,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Memphis, Tennessee
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Plant Accountant to join their team!
Join a dynamic and growing organization in Memphis as a Plant Accountant. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a key finance partner within the plant leadership team, providing decision-ready financial insights. As the company is in major growth mode, this position is pivotal for driving financial visibility and performance management. The new CFO is focused on elevating the finance department, making this an ideal opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Serve as primary finance partner to plant leadership
- Own plant forecasting and budgeting processes
- Deliver performance management and variance analysis
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards
- Strengthen plant costing mechanics and margin visibility
- Support plant inventory performance and working-capital management
- Provide finance support for plant capex planning and reporting
- Lead or drive cost reduction programs
- Ensure finance processes are SOX-aware and compliant
- Lead and develop a small plant finance team
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing finance
- Experience with plant costing and cost reduction initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- SAP proficiency (FI/CO and/or manufacturing-related modules)
- MBA, CPA, CMA, or similar certification
- Experience with KPI dashboards and digital reporting tools
- Strong presentation skills and executive presence
