Position: Accounting Supervisor – Fixed Assets
Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accounting Supervisor – Fixed Assets to join their team!
Join a company known for its long-standing stability and people-first culture as an Accounting Supervisor – Fixed Assets. This is a rare opportunity to lead the fixed asset accounting function, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. The role is open due to an internal promotion, offering hands-on training from the previous supervisor. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Oversee fixed asset accounting processes
- Maintain accuracy of asset records
- Coordinate physical asset inventories
- Calculate and review depreciation expenses
- Prepare and review journal entries
- Reconcile fixed asset subledger to the general ledger
- Support month-end and year-end close activities
- Track capital expenditures against budgets
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Procurement teams
- Identify process improvement opportunities
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with fixed asset accounting
- Working knowledge of capitalization policies and GAAP
- Strong Microsoft Excel and accounting systems experience
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
- Experience in a capital-intensive industry
- ERP system experience or implementation exposure
- Experience with process improvement initiatives
- Strong attention to detail
