Position: IT Support Specialist
Compensation: $25 – $30 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid)
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled IT Support Specialist to join their team!
Join a growing IT services provider focused on delivering reliable, secure, and responsive technology solutions. This hybrid role offers a dynamic mix of remote support and onsite client visits.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Answer support calls and offer professional technical assistance
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues remotely
- Perform onsite support for clients as needed
- Manage endpoint protection and monitor security services
- Support Microsoft 365 user issues and setup
- Document tickets and track work using Autotask
- Monitor backup systems and data recovery processes
- Provide proactive recommendations to improve client systems
- Participate in rotating on-call weekends
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 1–3+ years of IT support/helpdesk experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, user management)
- Familiarity with Antivirus/EDR tools and backup solutions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience working in an MSP environment
- Knowledge of networking basics (routers, firewalls, VPNs)
- Exposure to cybersecurity tools and best practices
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications
