Position: Senior Cloud Engineer
Compensation: $115,000 – $135,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join their team!
Join a rapidly growing company as a Senior Cloud Engineer, where you’ll play a crucial role in designing and managing hybrid IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design and manage hybrid/multi-cloud environments across Azure and AWS
- Lead cloud workload administration, monitoring, and performance tuning
- Implement migrations and re-platforming strategies for applications
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes
- Ensure high availability and business continuity for critical systems
- Collaborate on SCADA/ICS integration and energy-specific software support
- Monitor resource usage and implement cost optimization strategies
- Maintain security posture and compliance with industry standards
- Serve as senior technical escalation point for complex incidents
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to IT strategy
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 7+ years managing hybrid/multi-cloud environments
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure and AWS
- Expertise in IT systems engineering or infrastructure administration
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Understanding of networking, security principles, and monitoring tools
- Experience supporting enterprise applications in regulated industries
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- US Citizen – must not require additional work authorization
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Solutions Architect Professional
- Familiarity with oil and gas domain applications
- Knowledge of SCADA systems or ICS security considerations
- Resides within the United States (Oklahoma City or Houston preferred)
