Position: Revenue Accounting Manager
Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Revenue Accounting Manager to join their team!
Join an industry leader in oil and gas, renowned for its stable, long-term business model and commitment to excellence. The role is open due to the company's expansion and need for experienced leadership in their revenue accounting department.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead a team of 7 Revenue staff
- Manage revenue accruals and filings
- Analyze monthly revenue trends
- Oversee month-end accrual close processing
- Implement process improvements and internal controls
- Collaborate with internal departments
- Support acquisition and divestiture activities
- Manage DR21W reporting
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of oil and gas revenue accounting experience
- 4+ years supervisory experience
- 8+ years experience with Excalibur or similar software
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Accredited Petroleum Accountant (APA) accreditation
- Experience with asset acquisitions and divestitures
- Proficiency with PowerPoint
