Position: Revenue Integrity Specialist
Compensation: $20 – $33/hour, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Revenue Integrity Specialist to join their team!
This is a fantastic opportunity to work onsite in a dynamic environment where you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate hospital revenue processes. The position involves evaluating hospital claims, identifying discrepancies, and collaborating with clinical leadership to optimize charge capture practices. Join a dedicated team focused on maintaining compliance and enhancing revenue integrity.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Review system and clearing house edits for missing or incorrect charges
- Utilize EMR and clearinghouse to manage claim edits
- Validate claims data against payer rules and regulations
- Provide root cause analysis and feedback on charging practices
- Assist physicians in placing correct procedure codes
- Recommend system optimization for charge capture
- Stay updated on coding ethics and legislative changes
- Research accounts for global or duplicate charges
- Communicate with appeal/denial personnel on CCI edits
- Exercise authority on account adjustments with documentation
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of two years in Revenue Integrity, coding, or billing
- Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS and ICD-10 coding
- Experience in hospital charging and billing required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain concentration with multiple issues
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Cardiology experience is a plus
- AHIMA or AAPC certification preferred
- Familiarity with medical records and clinical documentation
- Epic experience is a plus
