Position: Accountant II
Compensation: $34 – $36 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accountant II to join their team!
Join a dynamic team where you will handle essential accounting tasks such as general ledger postings, balancing, and journal entries. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Reconcile daily and monthly transactions
- Maintain general ledger trial balances
- Manage accounts receivable balances
- Process cash receipts and credit invoices
- Resolve bill and payment discrepancies
- Create sales tax credits as needed
- Compile travel data for sustainability reporting
- Participate in monthly and year-end close processes
- Assist the Controller with accounting tasks
- Establish effective working relationships
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 3-5 years minimum experience in accounting and payroll
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or comparable experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- CPA or CPA Eligible
- Experience with inventory accounting
- Knowledge of variance analysis and sales tax
