Position: Accounts Payable Analyst
Compensation: $27 – $35 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accounts Payable Analyst to join their team!
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team on a high-visibility project. You will support the General Ledger team by converting purchase orders into invoices, helping clear a backlog, and gaining exposure across multiple departments. The role is 100% onsite in Jersey Village, offering you the chance to work closely with buyers, managers, and branch leadership. This position is perfect for someone with a strong Accounts Payable background and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Convert purchase orders into invoices
- Collaborate with the General Ledger team
- Communicate effectively with buyers and managers
- Handle high-visibility projects with multiple departments
- Work onsite in Jersey Village
- Utilize Excel for data management
- Engage in cross-functional communication
- Address inquiries proactively
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong Accounts Payable background
- Intermediate Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables)
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets daily
- Strong communication skills (phone/email etiquette)
- Self-starter with a proactive approach
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Coupa or any ERP system
- Positive, outgoing personality
- Comfortable navigating multiple systems
