Position: Finance/AR Temp
Compensation: $22 – $25 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Fuquay Varina, North Carolina
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Finance/AR Temp to join their team!
Join a dynamic team as a Finance Clerk – Accounts Receivable, where you will support the finance team in a fast-paced environment. This temporary role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in accounts receivable and customer service. This role is open due to increased business demand and offers the potential for extension based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage clerical duties related to invoicing and accounts receivable
- Post customer payments by verifying and entering transactions
- Research and resolve invoice and customer issues
- Process customer credit card payments
- Provide professional customer service support for finance inquiries
- Answer incoming customer calls and build relationships
- Serve as backup for the Receptionist during PTO coverage
- Assist visitors and answer questions
- Sort and file incoming mail
- Set up new vendor records accurately in NetSuite
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
- Understanding of basic accounting concepts
- Experience with Microsoft Office and basic Excel skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and handle frequent interruptions
- Professional communication skills and phone etiquette
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
