Position: Electrical CAD Technician
Compensation: $26 – $28/hour, depending on experience
Location: Englewood, Colorado
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Electrical CAD Technician to join their team!
Join a dynamic team working on federal projects in a role that offers the opportunity for professional growth through established mentorship programs. This position is crucial for maintaining and revising electrical drawings while ensuring adherence to client standards. The role is open due to expansion, providing a unique chance to be a part of exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Revise existing electrical drawings
- Prepare drawings from verbal or written instructions
- Follow company and client drafting standards
- Plot drawings successfully
- Maintain knowledge of design and drafting procedures
- Review work for accuracy prior to engineering review
- Provide accurate accounting of project time
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma with drafting technology coursework
- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD or Bentley Microstation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize work
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Associate’s degree in computer-aided drafting and design
- Previous internship or consulting experience
- Experience with higher-level commands in CAD software
