Position: Accounts Payable Coordinator
Compensation: $25 – 35 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their team!
This is a great opportunity for an experienced AP professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of high-volume invoice processing. You’ll play a key role in keeping payments moving smoothly, supporting month-end close, and helping the team stay organized and efficient. This contract-to-hire role offers a clear path to long-term opportunity with a company looking to hire quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Process 100 to 300 invoices per week accurately
- Manage invoice intake, approvals, and payment proposals
- Execute payment processing in a timely manner
- Support month-end close activities and reporting
- Assist with cash forecasting and payment planning
- Work across multiple systems to resolve exceptions
- Maintain strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Communicate effectively with internal teams on AP issues
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 5 to 10 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Strong Excel skills for daily AP work
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Professional communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Epicor
- Experience with DataWorks
- Prior cash forecasting exposure
- Experience supporting month-end close
