Position: Security Analyst III
Compensation: $ 67 – 76 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Security Analyst III to join their team!
This is a high-impact opportunity for a seasoned security professional to take the lead on day-to-day monitoring, response, and automation efforts across a growing environment. You’ll work on critical security systems supporting multiple business units, with the chance to step into a more senior leadership path over time. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical, hands-on setting and enjoys building smarter, more efficient security operations.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Triage and investigate security alerts daily
- Monitor CrowdStrike for anomalies and respond appropriately
- Lead incident response activities and documentation
- Manage vulnerability tracking using Tenable
- Help consolidate and optimize security tools
- Create playbooks and workflow processes
- Develop automations to streamline alert handling
- Support security operations across multiple affiliated companies
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in security
- 3+ years of experience as a Security Analyst II or equivalent
- Strong hands-on experience with CrowdStrike
- Experience handling incident response activities
- Experience with vulnerability management tools, preferably Tenable
- Ability to build playbooks and workflows
- Experience creating automations for security processes
- Comfortable operating in a technical, high-ownership role
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience moving into senior or lead-level security responsibilities
- Exposure to security tool consolidation projects
- Ability to mentor or support junior team members
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
