Position: Director of Client Accounting

Compensation: $140,000 – $170,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Edmond, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Director of Client Accounting to join their team!

Join a dynamic firm as the Director of Client Accounting, where you’ll lead the bookkeeping and client accounting operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive process improvements, support business development, and collaborate closely with tax and administrative teams to deliver exceptional client service. The role is open due to growth, offering a chance to make a significant impact and build lasting client relationships in a professional and high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Oversee client accounting services and financial reporting
• Lead and mentor the Client Accounting Services team
• Ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Serve as the primary contact for complex client accounting matters
• Review financial records and ensure compliance
• Collaborate with tax and administrative teams
• Identify and implement workflow improvements
• Oversee onboarding of new clients and setup processes
• Lead business development initiatives
• Promote a positive and collaborative team culture

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 7+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of small business accounting and payroll
• Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Desktop
• Experience reviewing financial statements for accuracy
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills
• Strong client relationship management skills
• Process-oriented with focus on efficiency and accuracy

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• CPA or similar credential
• Experience with small CPA firms
• Experience in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
• Payroll experience
