Position: Technical Accounting Consultant
Compensation: $ 40 – 60 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Technical Accounting Consultant to join their team!
This is a strong opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys high-impact project work. You’ll support a 3-month ERP-related initiative focused on revenue accounting, reconciliations, and financial validation during a system transition. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy ensuring accuracy during complex conversions, this role offers a chance to make an immediate difference.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Perform heavy revenue reconciliations and validation work
- Review general ledger activity and legacy account balances
- Support account mapping and coding during ERP transition
- Validate revenue and gross margin accuracy
- Help maintain data integrity during system conversion
- Partner with teams to resolve accounting discrepancies
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Accounting degree required
- Strong revenue accounting experience
- Solid general ledger and reconciliation knowledge
- ERP implementation or system conversion experience
- Experience with account mapping and financial validation
- Ability to work onsite full time
- Comfort working in a fast-paced project environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience supporting major ERP conversions
- Background in gross margin analysis
- Exposure to legacy system cleanup
- Project-based accounting experience
