Position: Sr AI Engineer
Compensation: $ 75 – 84 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Boulder, Colorado
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Sr AI Engineer to join their team!
This is a strong opportunity for an AI-focused engineer who enjoys applying modern tools to real business challenges. You’ll help advance backend processes through practical AI solutions, supporting high-impact work across code quality, testing, orchestration, and automation. This role is open due to increased project demand and additional hiring needs, making it a great time to step in and contribute from day one.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design and build AI solutions for backend workflows
- Support code reviews, testing, and development automation
- Help stand up MCP servers and AI agents
- Contribute to AI-driven orchestration and DevOps initiatives
- Improve internal processes using practical AI applications
- Collaborate with technical teams on solution design
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong experience as a software or AI engineer
- Hands-on experience applying AI to backend processes
- Experience with code review and testing workflows
- Knowledge of AI agents or orchestration tools
- Ability to work with technical teams on implementation
- Experience supporting development and automation efforts
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with CursorAI
- Exposure to MCP server setup
- Background in DevOps-related automation
- Experience with backend optimization projects
- Familiarity with AI tooling for engineering teams
