Position: Software Developer
Compensation: $75 – 80 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Software Developer to join their team!
This is a strong opportunity for a technically curious developer who enjoys solving business problems and building practical solutions. You’ll join a team that is evolving toward smaller, agile groups and a more flexible, full-stack mindset, with the chance to contribute across development, data, and API-driven work. This role is open as the team continues to modernize and refine how they deliver solutions.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Build and support API-focused application solutions.
- Develop data pipelines and application integrations.
- Work with internal business teams to define solutions.
- Transform and move data for front-end application use.
- Collaborate on technical designs and implementation details.
- Support end-to-end delivery of development projects.
- Write clean code aligned to business requirements.
- Contribute to a fast-moving, agile development environment.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Senior-level development experience.
- Strong background in API-focused development.
- Experience with SQL and database work.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C#.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience delivering work from concept through completion.
- Technical alignment with development or data engineering roles.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Oracle experience.
- Experience with AI-enabled development tools.
- Exposure to React or TypeScript.
- Background in full-stack development.
- Familiarity with REST, GraphQL, or SOAP APIs.
