Position: Business Analyst
Compensation: $45 – 53 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Business Analyst to join their team!
This is a fantastic contract opportunity to support a technical solutions team working on computational design systems. You’ll play a key role connecting business needs with technical delivery, helping keep projects moving, requirements clear, and stakeholders aligned.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Partner with business and technical teams to align project goals
- Gather, document, and refine user and technical requirements
- Create clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Prioritize backlog items based on dependencies and value
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, including standups and retrospectives
- Track project status and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Coordinate testing, implementation, and training activities
- Support issue resolution with quick, practical problem-solving
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field
- At least 4 years of technical business analysis experience
- Strong knowledge of agile development practices
- Excellent facilitation and stakeholder communication skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Project management experience
- Experience with Jira or Confluence
- Background in technical or computational systems
- Experience coordinating with external vendors
