Position: Desktop Support
Compensation: $24 – 25 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Desktop Support specialist to join their team!
This contract opportunity is ideal for a hands-on desktop support professional who enjoys solving technical issues, supporting end users, and keeping operations running smoothly. The role will focus on deskside support, imaging, onboarding, asset coordination, and other day-to-day IT support needs. Strong communication skills and a quick start-up are especially valuable in this fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide deskside support for hardware and software issues
- Image, configure, and deploy Dell hardware
- Support new hire onboarding and equipment setup
- Assist with IT asset collection and equipment deployment
- Respond to user questions and resolve issues quickly
- Document daily tasks, issues, and resolutions accurately
- Work with vendors to resolve technical issues
- Provide basic support for A/V equipment
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Associate’s degree in a computer-related field, or equivalent training
- 2-5 years of relevant desktop support experience
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Ability to support end users in-person
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Experience with Active Directory, SCCM, ServiceNow, AppV, Citrix, PowerShell and BitLocker preferred
- Proficiency with operating systems and desktop support tools

- This is a six-month contract with potential for extension based on performance
- The team is currently experiencing a high workload and needs support quickly
- Strong interpersonal skills and ServiceNow knowledge are preferred
