Position: Accountant II
Compensation: $ 70000-75000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accountant II to join their team!
This is a strong opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys hands-on general ledger work, month-end close, and supporting multiple entities. The team is moving quickly to identify the right direct hire fit. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger activity
- Support daily and monthly transaction balancing
- Maintain trial balances across multiple entities
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Handle cash activity, receipts, and payment discrepancies
- Support accounts receivable, collections, and customer credit approvals
- Process accounts payable checks, wires, and ACH payments
- Maintain records, filing, and secure document storage
- Assist with sales tax, inventory accounting, and variance analysis
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on accounting matters
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 3-5 years of accounting experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or comparable experience
- Strong general accounting knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas
- High attention to detail and strong organization
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong time management and deadline management skills
- Professional communication and customer service approach
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- CPA or CPA-eligible status
- Experience with payroll
- Inventory accounting knowledge
- Sales tax experience
- Cost accounting exposure
- Experience supporting multiple entities
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Comfort using Microsoft Teams and Copilot
