Position: AR Specialist
Compensation: $54000 – $56000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled AR Specialist to join their team!
This is an exciting direct hire opportunity for an organized, tech-savvy accounting professional who enjoys working across teams and keeping financial processes running smoothly. In this role, you’ll support the full accounts receivable cycle while helping improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer service. With two openings available due to an internal process shift, this is a great chance to step into a role with visibility, variety, and room to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Process and issue customer invoices accurately and on time
- Post payments including checks, ACH, credit card, and wire transfers
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue balances
- Resolve billing issues, short pays, and unapplied cash
- Support month-end close and AR account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate customer account records and updates
- Prepare AR reports for management review
- Partner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
- Assist with process improvements and special projects
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Prior internship, co-op, or office/accounting experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Ability to learn new software systems quickly
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn
- Strong customer service orientation
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience supporting accounts receivable processes
- Exposure to month-end close activities
- Experience working with accounting or ERP systems
- Comfort partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams
- Interest in process improvement or system enhancement projects
