Position: Senior Network Engineer
Compensation: $60 – 65 /hour, depending on experience
Location: North Kansas City, Missouri
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join their team!
This is a strong contract opportunity to support a busy network team through critical infrastructure upgrades and ongoing projects. You’ll step into a senior-level role within a Cisco-focused environment, helping maintain and improve core routing and switching operations while contributing to future network initiatives once the upgrade work is complete.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Support and execute network infrastructure upgrades
- Configure and maintain Cisco routing and switching environments
- Maintain stable and secure network operations
- Collaborate with a small network engineering team
- Contribute to defined network projects after upgrades
- Help troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of network engineering experience
- Deep Cisco networking experience
- Strong background in routing and switching
- Experience with Cisco Catalyst switches and enterprise routers
- Hands on experience with routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with network infrastructure refresh projects
- Experience with large network environments
- Experience supporting upgrade-focused initiatives
