Position: Electrical Detailer
Compensation: $25 – $28 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Electrical Detailer to join their team!
This is a great opportunity to support a highly technical substation team on a variety of impactful electrical drafting projects. In this role, you’ll contribute to detailed design documentation, help refine engineering drawings, and play a key part in keeping projects moving forward. If you enjoy precision, collaboration, and building your drafting career in a hands-on environment, this could be a strong next step.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Prepare and revise substation engineering drawings.
- Support physical arrangements and one-line diagrams.
- Update wiring diagrams and grounding plans.
- Create and revise cable and conduit schedules.
- Assist with permit and plot drawings.
- Follow drafting standards and procedures closely.
- Use standard drafting tools to support project needs.
- Research design issues and recommend solutions.
- Contribute to continuous drafting improvements.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Associate degree in design technology, drafting technology, or related field.
- Specialized CAD certification is required.
- 0+ years of experience; recent graduates are encouraged.
- AutoCAD or MicroStation experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work permanently.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience supporting electrical or substation drafting.
- Familiarity with engineering drawing standards.
- Leadership or team collaboration experience.
- Exposure to detail-oriented project environments.
