Position: Customer Service Manager
Compensation: $150k-$160k annually, depending on experience
Location: Deer Park, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Customer Service Manager to join their team!
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on professional who enjoys being at the center of customer support, logistics coordination, and cross-functional communication. In this role, you’ll help keep operations moving smoothly while supporting the sales team, managing key customer needs, and helping guide a small service team. With a strong bonus structure and long-term growth potential, this opening offers both challenge and reward.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Support the sales team with day-to-day customer needs.
- Serve as the main contact for logistics support.
- Manage logistics contracts and transportation requests.
- Negotiate rates for customer movements.
- Communicate client needs to internal technical teams.
- Resolve customer issues through to completion.
- Develop and improve service procedures and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and actions.
- Support and help oversee a small customer service team.
- Assist with billing and contract-related work as needed.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- BA/BS degree in a related field.
- Three or more years of relevant industry experience.
- Background in hazardous waste or chemical services.
- Strong customer service support experience.
- Knowledge of RCRA and DOT regulations.
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
- Experience working with sales and operations teams.
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Science degree, such as chemistry or biology.
- People management or team leadership experience.
- Environmental specialist background.
- Inside sales or operations management experience.
- Experience handling contracts or billing tasks.
- Knowledge of hazardous materials processes.
- Experience in a plant or industrial environment.
