Position: AP Clerk
Compensation: $20 – $22 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled AP Clerk to join their team!
This is a fantastic contract-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping things organized, staying on top of details, and supporting a busy accounting team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the accounts payable process, helping ensure invoices are accurately entered, reviewed, and paid on time. If you’re reliable, proactive, and comfortable communicating across departments, this could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Sort, review, and organize incoming invoices
- Enter non-PO invoices into Sage
- Verify approvals, receipts, and correct GL coding
- Reconcile freight, credit card, and vendor invoices
- Process payments through vendor portals as needed
- Prepare weekly check runs and file documentation
- Support ACH and automatic payment entries in Sage
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate payment and transaction records
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous accounts payable or accounting support experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using accounting systems such as Sage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Reliable, professional, and eager to learn new processes
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with invoice reconciliation
- Familiarity with check runs and ACH payments
- Experience supporting PO invoice processing
- Knowledge of freight invoice matching
- Experience with document management systems
