Position: Financial Analyst
Compensation: $36 – $39/hour, depending on experience
Location: Olathe, Kansas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Financial Analyst to join their team!
This is a strong contract-to-hire opportunity for a hands-on financial professional who enjoys solving problems and improving processes. You’ll support Accounting and Operations teams as they continue optimizing a recently implemented Oracle Fusion environment, with a focus on project accounting, billing, revenue, and contract-related analysis.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Analyze complex project financial data and identify root causes.
- Support project accounting, billing, and revenue management processes.
- Review contract terms for billing and revenue requirements.
- Investigate discrepancies across data, systems, and workflows.
- Partner with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and IT teams.
- Assist with process improvements and system stabilization efforts.
- Work with large data sets to perform reconciliations and exception reporting.
- Support project setup, invoicing, collections, and closeout activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of project accounting, financial analysis, or ERP support experience.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion.
- Experience with Project Financial Management, Billing, Revenue, or Contracts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience interpreting complex contract terms.
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort with large data sets.
- Experience identifying process issues and financial variances.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple business functions.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with ERP implementations or post-go-live support.
- Knowledge of project invoicing and client-specific billing.
- Familiarity with revenue recognition best practices.
- Experience supporting accounts receivable or collections.
- Background in financial controls or process redesign.
