Position: BI Consultant
Compensation: $ 60 – 80 /hour, depending on experience
Location: North Kansas City, Missouri
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled BI Consultant to join their team!
This is a great short-term consulting opportunity to support a business intelligence initiative with strong visibility across the organization. You’ll help transform SharePoint list data into meaningful dashboards and reporting tools that support resource planning, budgeting, and forecasting. This role offers the chance to work directly with a tech-savvy leadership team on a high-impact project with clear deliverables and a defined timeline.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Build dashboards and reports from SharePoint list data
- Support data extraction, transformation, and loading workflows
- Work with SQL when a database is needed for ETL processes
- Create reporting solutions for executive and operational teams
- Document scripts, processes, and data workflows clearly
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting needs
- Provide a solution that is maintainable for future updates
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience with SharePoint lists and reporting data
- Strong SQL skills for data handling and transformation
- Hands-on Power BI experience
- Ability to build dashboards and reporting solutions
- Scripting experience, such as PowerShell
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Tableau experience or familiarity
- Ability to compare Tableau and Power BI capabilities
- Experience supporting executive-level reporting needs
- Background in resource planning or forecasting dashboards
