Position: NOC Engineer
Compensation: $85,000 – $100,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled NOC Engineer to join their team!
This is a strong opportunity to step into a stable, growth-focused environment supporting a modern fiber and packet-optical network. In this role, you’ll help keep critical services running smoothly through monitoring, troubleshooting, provisioning, and clear communication during incidents and outages. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys solving problems, staying organized under pressure, and making an impact on network reliability every day.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Monitor network events, alarms, and service performance
- Correlate incidents and manage trouble tickets
- Communicate outage updates to customers and internal teams
- Escalate issues with clear technical details and next steps
- Provision services on core and access network equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation and MOPs
- Support engineering and technical teams as needed
- Participate in on-call rotation and scheduled shift coverage
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Five or more years of network operations experience
- Experience with network monitoring and alarm correlation
- Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills
- Experience in a service-provider or telecom NOC environment
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Understanding of network security standards and best practices
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with packet-optical or FTTH networks
- Familiarity with Ciena, Calix, Adtran, Cisco, or Juniper
- Exposure to SolarWinds, LibreNMS, Zabbix, or Grafana
- Experience with ITSM or modern ticketing platforms
- Basic scripting or automation experience
- CCNA, JNCIA, or similar certification
- Experience creating detailed technical documentation
- Microsoft 365, Visio, or Project experience
