Position: Transportation Coordinator II
Compensation: $ 60000 – 64000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Transportation Coordinator II to join their team!
This is a great opportunity for a logistics professional who enjoys fast-paced coordination, problem-solving, and keeping shipments moving smoothly. In this role, you’ll serve as a key point of contact for customers and carriers while supporting daily transportation operations, exception management, and service recovery efforts. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Serve as a primary contact for customers and carriers
- Coordinate shipments across truckload, LTL, and hotshot services
- Use TMS tools to plan, route, and execute shipments
- Monitor loads and resolve shipment exceptions quickly
- Provide status updates and support Track & Trace activities
- Assist with customer inquiries, complaints, and service recovery
- Support carrier billing and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Manage a high volume of emails and service requests
- Maintain accurate records and ensure policy compliance
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 2–4 years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and drive resolution
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business
- Experience with service recovery processes
- Background supporting carrier billing workflows
- Experience in account-level operational improvement
- Familiarity with transportation exception management
