Position: Senior Revenue Accountant
Compensation: $85,000 – $105,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Revenue Accountant to join their team!
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. In this role, you will support revenue accruals, reporting, reconciliations, and analysis while partnering across teams to help ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Prepare monthly revenue accrual and re-accrual journal entries.
- Analyze production volumes and pricing data.
- Reconcile revenue accruals to actual results.
- Investigate variances and support PPA analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
- Support financial reporting and revenue disclosures.
- Assist with ad hoc analysis and special projects.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- 3+ years of oil and gas accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of revenue accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, SUMIF, and Pivot Tables.
- Experience preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience driving process improvements.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Background in financial reporting support.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience supporting audit or SOX-related processes.
