Position: Data Engineer
Compensation: up to $80 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Data Engineer to join their team!
This is a strong opportunity to support a major data transformation initiative, helping move critical systems from on-premises SQL Server environments into AWS and Snowflake. You’ll work on impactful enterprise data projects, building efficient ETL solutions and supporting a modern data platform. If you enjoy solving complex data challenges and working with a collaborative technical team, this role offers excellent visibility and long-term project work.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Build and support ETL processes for enterprise data projects
- Ingest data from multiple source systems and file types
- Develop advanced SQL queries and database solutions
- Work with SSIS and Visual Studio on data-related tasks
- Use Git and Azure DevOps for source control and collaboration
- Maintain, review, and debug C# code as needed
- Support cloud data initiatives across AWS and Snowflake
- Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and analysis
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in data-focused development
- Strong background with on-premises SQL Server environments
- Advanced SQL skills, preferably SQL Server 2019
- Hands-on experience with SSIS
- Experience using Azure DevOps or Git
- Visual Studio experience with C# code
- Experience ingesting fixed-width, sub-record, CSV, Oracle, or Kafka data
- Experience using AI-powered tools, such as Microsoft Copilot
- 2+ years of AWS data engineering experience
- Experience with data ingestion in Amazon S3
- Snowflake experience
- Experience with data transformation and integration
- Fivetran experience
