Position: Payroll Specialist
Compensation: $20 – $22 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Payroll Specialist to join their team!
This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-focused payroll professional who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and keeping processes running smoothly. You’ll support a collaborative payroll team in a fully onsite environment, helping ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time for a high-volume operation. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule
- Review large data sets for errors and inconsistencies
- Communicate with HR teams to resolve payroll questions
- Use Excel daily for reporting and data analysis
- Apply formulas, VLOOKUPs, and PivotTables
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Track outstanding items and meet deadlines
- Provide strong service to internal teams
- Support additional payroll-related tasks as needed
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Payroll processing experience required
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Experience with formulas and VLOOKUPs
- Experience using PivotTables
- Comfort working with large datasets
- Strong communication and follow-through
- Highly organized and detail-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently in a quiet team setting
- Professional presentation and workplace demeanor
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with UKG payroll systems
- Experience with Vista payroll systems
- 10-key experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Accounting background
- Customer service experience
- Exposure to payroll discrepancy resolution
