Position: Electronics Test Technician
Compensation: $24 – 32 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Electronics Test Technician to join their team!
This is a strong contract opportunity for a hands-on electronics professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex systems and working with a collaborative technical team. You’ll support production testing, repair, and component-level diagnostics on avionics and RF-related equipment, with the chance to grow your expertise in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment to component level
- Diagnose root causes of failures and perform targeted rework
- Retest repaired units to production acceptance standards
- Review BOMs, work orders, wiring charts, and engineering drawings
- Perform digital, analog, and RF circuit testing
- Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal analyzers
- Document all testing and repair activity accurately
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams on product issues
- Balance troubleshooting time with board value and repair cost
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Knowledge of electronic theory and circuit fundamentals
- Experience using electronic test equipment
- Ability to read resistors, transistors, symbols, and schematics
- Comfort working on component-level troubleshooting and repair
- Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent preferred
- Two years of digital, analog, and RF repair experience preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with avionics equipment
- Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards
- Knowledge of IPC-7711/7721 workmanship standards
- Experience with RF circuit theory
- Background in navigation aids or surveillance radios
- Exposure to engineering drawings and technical documentation

- Contract role with potential conversion opportunity
- Monday through Thursday schedule, with a shorter Friday shift
- Onsite interview process with two managers
- Training may be provided for candidates with strong fundamentals
