Position: Senior FP&A Analyst
Compensation: $130,000, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior FP&A Analyst to join their team!
This is a high-impact opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys partnering across teams, driving visibility into major capital investments, and turning complex data into clear decision support. In this role, you’ll support planning and forecasting for large-scale development projects while helping leadership make informed, data-backed investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Build and manage capital expenditure plans and forecasts
- Track project spending and explain budget variances
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc performance reports
- Analyze project metrics against plan and original assumptions
- Partner with engineering and operations teams on capital planning
- Gather and consolidate data from multiple business functions
- Support sensitivity analysis for key business and project drivers
- Provide clear recommendations to support capital allocation decisions
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or Business
- 4-8 years of FP&A or operational planning experience
- Experience with forecasting and variance analysis
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfort working with financial and operational data
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Oil and gas industry experience
- Experience in another capital-intensive industry
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Exposure to upstream operations or development planning
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to challenge assumptions thoughtfully
