Position: Financial Reporting Supervisor
Compensation: $135000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Financial Reporting Supervisor to join their team!
This is a strong opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys leadership, process improvement, and high-impact reporting work. In this role, you will help guide a team responsible for monthly financial reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, and audit support within a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead and support the financial reporting team.
- Set priorities and goals aligned with accounting objectives.
- Review journal entries for accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support ad hoc reporting and special accounting projects.
- Assist with annual audit preparation and coordination.
- Create and maintain desk procedures and workflows.
- Respond to internal and external accounting inquiries.
- Partner with other teams to support reporting needs.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in an Accounting Supervisor role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Experience preparing and reviewing financial reports.
- Ability to manage large data sets with accuracy.
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and charts.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Team leadership and development experience.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- CPA or CMA certification.
- Experience in oil and gas accounting.
- Background supporting monthly financial close processes.
- Experience with audit support and documentation.
- Process improvement or workflow development experience.
- Exposure to commercial or contract administration teams.
