Position: Technical Program Manager- Pricing
Compensation: $ 120000 – 180000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Technical Program Manager- Pricing to join their team!
This is an exciting opportunity to own a high-impact technology portfolio focused on next-generation rating and pricing capabilities. In this role, you’ll partner closely with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to shape strategy, drive execution, and improve how pricing tools are designed, launched, and adopted across the organization. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Own the roadmap for rating and pricing technology initiatives
- Partner with pricing and product leaders to define future workflows
- Evaluate automation opportunities across quote and execution processes
- Support architecture and integration decisions for core rate systems
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery across engineering and analytics teams
- Track KPIs for quote turnaround, accuracy, adoption, and pricing impact
- Support rollout planning, measurement, and change management efforts
- Ensure consistent engineering patterns across the technology stack
- Identify and help resolve cross-team capability gaps
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 10+ years of technical program or product management experience
- Background in pricing technology, revenue management, or freight rating systems
- Experience leading across engineering, AI, data science, and business teams
- Comfort reading and writing code in modern application environments
- Experience with HTTP APIs, messaging, and queueing systems
- Agile or Scrum methodology experience
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Prior experience as an engineer or product manager
- Exposure to freight rating platforms or revenue management systems
- Experience with dynamic or rules-based pricing engines
- Familiarity with route optimization or network planning
- Change management experience for pricing or commercial teams
- Project management or product certifications
