Position: Window Migration Technician
Compensation: $25 – $30 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Beaumont, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Window Migration Technician to join their team!
This is a fantastic short-term contract opportunity to support a high-priority Windows 11 migration project. You’ll be part of a team helping users stay productive during a major technology transition, with two openings available in Beaumont and two in Houston. If you enjoy hands-on IT support, working directly with end users, and following structured processes, this role offers a great chance to make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Image and reimage laptops following step-by-step procedures
- Support end users during Windows 11 migration activities
- Provide friendly, professional customer support onsite
- Communicate clearly with users about device turnaround timing
- Assist with workstation preparation and setup tasks
- Follow established migration processes and instructions
- Work onsite Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed, step-by-step instructions
- Comfortable assisting users in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available onsite Monday through Friday
- Ability to work in either Beaumont or Houston
- Interest in hands-on IT support or device imaging
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Prior Windows migration or upgrade project experience
- IT support experience
- Degree in MIS or Computer Science
- Experience with laptop imaging or reimaging
