Position: Senior Software Engineer- Software Integrations
Compensation: $ 140000 – 150000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Fully Remote
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Software Engineer- Software Integrations to join their team!
This is a high-impact opportunity to join a newly developed software integrations team focused on building custom, backend solutions that connect critical systems and move data seamlessly between platforms. You’ll work on meaningful integration projects that go beyond standard tools, helping solve complex business challenges in a collaborative, technically strong environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design and build custom backend integrations between internal and external systems
- Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka and AWS services
- Connect APIs to enable secure, reliable data exchange
- Support integration architecture and solution design discussions
- Work with cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code
- Monitor logs, metrics, and system health in cloud environments
- Collaborate closely with technical teammates and stakeholders
- Contribute to a growing team focused on scalable integration work
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Senior-level software engineering experience
- Experience with functional programming concepts or languages
- Background in backend or systems integration development
- Hands-on AWS experience
- Experience with services like ECS, Lambda, SQS, S3, DynamoDB, or Postgres
- Comfort designing systems and explaining technical decisions
- Experience using infrastructure as code
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- F# experience
- Exposure to Scala, Haskell, OCaml, or similar languages
- Experience with Kafka or event streaming
- Background supporting logistics-related systems
- Personal or professional GitHub projects showcasing functional programming
- Experience reviewing code in a team environment
