Position: Lead Network Engineer
Compensation: $135,000 – $145,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Lead Network Engineer to join their team!
This is a great opportunity to join a team-focused environment supporting and modernizing an enterprise network. You’ll play a key role in network design, operations, and strategic initiatives across security, cloud networking, and next-gen data center technologies.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design, implement, and support enterprise network systems across multiple platforms
- Work hands-on with Cisco routing, switching, and data center technologies
- Configure and manage Fortinet security solutions (firewalls/switching/management/analytics)
- Troubleshoot complex network issues across layered environments
- Support and drive initiatives related to SD-WAN and SASE
- Contribute to data center design using VXLAN / EVPN
- Create clear network documentation, standards, and troubleshooting notes
- Partner cross-functionally to improve infrastructure reliability and security
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 7+ years of enterprise network engineering / infrastructure experience
- CCNP or CCDP certifications (required)
- Strong Cisco experience with Catalyst, Nexus, and ISR
- Fortinet experience with FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiManager, and/or FortiAnalyzer
- Advanced routing knowledge: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
- Switching fundamentals: VLANs, STP, port-channels
- Strong understanding of network security and segmentation
- Experience supporting SD-WAN
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- CCIE, CCDE, or additional Cisco certifications
- Fortinet NSE 7 / FCX (or similar advanced Fortinet certifications)
- Experience in financial services or other regulated environments
- Azure or AWS networking exposure
- Network automation/scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.)
- Experience with hybrid network environments (on-prem & Cloud)
