Position: Materials Planning Specialist
Compensation: $75,000 – $80,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Materials Planning Specialist to join their team!
This is a brand-new opportunity for a supply chain professional who thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment. In this role, you will support end-to-end materials planning, inventory control, and logistics coordination while helping improve forecasting, service levels, and operational efficiency. If you enjoy working with data, solving real-world supply chain challenges, and making a measurable impact, this could be a strong next step.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Coordinate import, export, air, ocean, and ground shipments
- Monitor inventory levels and support materials optimization
- Build and maintain production schedules
- Analyze supplier performance and lead-time trends
- Develop dashboards and KPI reporting
- Use data to improve forecasting and planning decisions
- Support cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, quality, and finance
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of supply chain or operations planning experience
- Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Experience with ERP or MRP systems
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work with complex data sets
- Clear communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- APICS or CSCP certification
- Power BI experience
- Power Query or VBA knowledge
- Statistical forecasting experience
- Supply chain planning tool experience
- Understanding of hazardous materials regulations
- Lean or Six Sigma project experience
- Experience in chemical or regulated manufacturing environments
