Position: IT Specialist
Compensation: $50,000 – $65,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled IT Specialist to join their team!
This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys solving problems, supporting end users, and strengthening cybersecurity across the organization. In this role, you’ll be a key member of the IT team, helping keep systems running smoothly while supporting important initiatives that drive business growth and security.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Respond to company-wide helpdesk tickets and support requests
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge base documentation
- Deliver cybersecurity awareness training to employees
- Oversee phishing simulations and related training courses
- Monitor security alerts and take appropriate mitigation actions
- Configure security policies in Microsoft 365 Defender and Azure
- Manage security-related settings in Google Workspace and Gmail
- Support IT projects and initiatives with the IT Manager
- Build strong relationships with internal teams through responsive support
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Associate’s degree required
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science preferred
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
- Experience supporting Azure and Google Workspace environments
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and deadline management skills
- Ability to work with professionalism and confidentiality
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Certifications in Azure administration
- Certifications in cybersecurity platforms
- Experience with KnowBe4 or similar training tools
- Prior experience supporting phishing awareness programs
- Background in IT project support

- Full-time role with standard weekday business hours
- Occasional after-hours work may be required for maintenance and projects
- Some travel between company office locations may be required
