Position: Electrical Detailer
Compensation: $28 – $33 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Charlotte, NC
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Electrical Detailer to join their team!
This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented CAD professional who enjoys supporting impactful engineering projects from the ground up. You’ll contribute to drawing production, document control, and design support while working closely with project teams in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assist with electrical plan set production and drawing updates
- Create non-routine drawings from sketches and engineering notes
- Support project schedules and budget goals
- Print, scan, and assemble drawing packages for submittal
- Follow CAD standards and maintain documentation
- Provide quality feedback on drawings
- Assist with QA/QC review activities
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in drafting technology or related field with 2 years’ experience
- Associate degree with 3 years’ experience, or high school diploma with 4 years’ experience
- Basic experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to learn new design software quickly
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a multi-discipline team environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- 2D and 3D CAD experience
- Experience mentoring or training others
- Knowledge of engineering design principles
- Familiarity with multiple design software applications
