Position: Senior I&C Engineer
Compensation: $ 80 – 150 /hour, depending on experience & $155,000-$230,000 upon conversion
Location: Englewood, CO
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior I&C Engineer to join their team!
Step into a high-impact engineering role where you’ll help shape electrical and controls solutions for complex industrial projects. This opportunity offers the chance to lead design efforts, collaborate across disciplines, and support both office and field execution from concept through commissioning.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead electrical and I&C design package development.
- Create one-lines, layouts, schedules, and wiring diagrams.
- Specify electrical and controls equipment.
- Perform electrical studies and technical calculations.
- Review vendor submittals and procurement documents.
- Support P&IDs, control philosophies, and cause-and-effect matrices.
- Guide junior engineers and review technical work.
- Participate in site walks, QA/QC, and construction support.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Seven years of electrical engineering experience.
- Experience with EPC projects preferred.
- ETAP or SKM experience.
- Oil and gas or utility sector background.
- PLC, RTU, or SCADA system experience.
- Strong knowledge of ANSI and IEEE standards.
- Experience leading discipline design efforts.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree.
- Professional Engineer license.
- SPI InTools or similar software experience.
- Experience with HAZOP or LOPA reviews.
