Position: Payment Systems Analyst
Compensation: $45 – 52/hour, depending on experience
Location: ONSITE – Canton, Massachusetts
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Payment Systems Analyst to join their team!
This role is a great fit for someone with strong payment systems experience who enjoys troubleshooting, analyzing technical issues, and working across business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Support and troubleshoot payment hardware and software
- Review logs and data to identify root causes and trends
- Partner with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues
- Assist with payment solution configuration, deployment, and support
- Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base materials
- Support testing, integrations, escalations, and system improvements
- Communicate technical issues and updates to both technical and non-technical teams
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years supporting payment hardware and/or software
- Experience with Verifone terminals and VHQ
- Background in hospitality, restaurant, retail, or similar payment environments
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root cause analysis skills
- Understanding of credit/debit card processing and tokenization
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Fiserv or other payment processors
- Knowledge of POS, web, and mobile payment integrations
- Familiarity with Azure or other cloud technologies
- Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot
- Background in application or integration testing
