Position: DevOps Engineer
Compensation: $65 – 72 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Boulder, Colorado
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their team!
This is a great opportunity to step into a high-impact contract role supporting cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and production stability. The team is looking for someone who can jump in quickly, bring strong DevOps expertise, and help support ongoing projects and operational needs in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design and support scalable cloud infrastructure.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and security.
- Manage container orchestration platforms.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
- Support incident resolution and root cause analysis.
- Participate in on-call production support.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams.
- Serve as release manager for IT deployments.
- Document processes and support change control.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- At least three years of DevOps or cloud engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, or ELK.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in the United States and meet client approval requirements.
- U.S. citizenship and U.S. residence for three of the last five years required.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- AWS SysOps Administrator certification.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
- Experience with serverless architectures.
- Experience with microservices environments.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Understanding of network concepts and security best practices.
- Database fundamentals knowledge.
