Position: Claims Manager
Compensation: $100,000 – $125,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Claims Manager to join their team!
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced leader to step into a high-impact role supporting a growing supplemental medical claims organization. You’ll oversee multiple supervisors and a large team, helping drive performance, consistency, and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead and support supervisors overseeing supplemental medical claims teams.
- Set clear performance goals and service expectations.
- Monitor workload trends and adjust staffing as needed.
- Coach leaders to strengthen team performance and engagement.
- Resolve complex claim situations with sound judgment.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Partner with leadership to improve processes and service quality.
- Support customer-focused claims decisions in ambiguous scenarios.
- Assist with escalated claim issues and legal matters when needed.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 6+ years of leadership or management experience.
- Experience leading supervisors or other people leaders.
- Proven success managing large teams or multi-layered teams.
- Strong coaching, accountability, and team development skills.
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to handle complex or unclear situations confidently.
- Strong diplomacy and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based software.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- 7-10+ years of experience in insurance-related roles.
- Supplemental medical, disability, or absence management experience.
- Experience in regulated environments such as insurance or healthcare.
- Knowledge of state and federal claim regulations.
- Familiarity with claims operations and customer-facing teams.
- Background supporting litigation or legal claim review.
- Experience with domestic or international market operations.
